We love to take Tania to dine out with us. And what keeps her happy and comfortable through the outing is her ‘booster seat’ When we bought this simple lightweight seat, we had no idea how useful it was going to be.
We started to put Tania in it when she was able to sit up without support, at around seven months. Initially we used only at home and relied on highchairs when we visited restaurants. However, we soon realized, that Tania was far happier in her booster because, besides bringing her at level with us, the absence of a tray made her feel less captive.
We could have her sit in the chair through the meal happily playing with spoons or toys and interacting with everyone on the table. The other reason why a booster seat is a must, is because, in India, several restaurants do not keep highchairs and the ones which do, are not suited for toddlers to sit in because of the absence of security straps.
