After a very long time I have chanced upon a recipe which has become a favorite for my little one, and also works beautifully well as a cool summer food since it is served cold. You can try the same with bananas as well, however the strawberry flavour is just too refreshing Here it is:
1 ½ tbsp uncooked dalia
50 ml milk
2 tsp sugar
- 1. Wash and soak the dalia in water for 20 minutes
- 2. Drain water. Add half cup fresh water and half the milk and pressure cook for about 20 minutes.
- 3. In a blender, crush strawberries with milk and sugar. Keep Aside.
- 4. When the cooker opens, let the dalia cool. Add the strawberry-milk mixture to the cooked dalia.
- 5. Serve cold.
