Although our first resort to anything seems to be YouTube and Google, it’s so much more fun for kids when it’s real life. The children’s play Natkhat Krishna is a great way to introduce your children to the stories of Krishna and his friends in Vrnidavan. My 3 year old was thrilled to watch the play and remembers it scene by scene!
The best part about the play is that it appeals to the today’s age kids with its high energy and continuous excitement. It has a modern element throughout which builds a connect with children of all ages.
With Janmashtami, around the corner, it’s actually an impactful way to introduce your children to the stories of Krishna and when you do it through an activity of this type, they are sure to remember it forever. Our kids are so enamored with fairy tales and superheroes, we almost forget that Indian Mythology can also be fun.
Natkhat Krishna is beautifully conceptualized and executed with great acting and very catchy music. My daughter listens to the CD till date. They interact very well with audience teaching simple lessons in a fun manner. Krishna’s mischief and pranks keeps the children entertained and morals are introduced very subtly but powerfully.
It’s quite a challenge to keep kids away from digital entertainment and this is a great way to keep them entertained. They also get a flavor of the festival in a way that they understand! Click here for show details
