How hard we try as moms to keep our kids entertained with something new, something fun and with something that excites them!! For playtime, we buy toys which will keep them entertained; for mealtimes, we buy fancy crockery and cutlery with cartoons and fancy colours so that they eat that extra bit, and when it comes to milk-time?? We do just about anything and everything to pour down those 2 or 3 glasses of milk everyday. Haven’t we tried it all??
No, we have not. We have not tried the coolest way to drink milk through Sipahh!! I discovered the coolest MilkBar at the UpperCrust festival in Mumbai. A Milk BAR!! Wow!! It was the one of the most unique things that I had seen where they served fresh milk with a choice of flavoured straws. It flaunted the most fun and ‘STRAWesome’ way to have milk. It was so cool, I wanted to try it before my daughter did!! The pretty pastel colours itself were so inviting, I could not stay away.
Sipahh milk flavouring straws turn plain milk into yummy flavoured milk. As you sip, tiny flavoured tapioca balls inside the straw give out a yummy taste. The pink ‘Hello Marshmallow’ attracted my daughter and I decided to try ‘Cookies and Cream’ from the 13 inviting flavours that they had. Supercool is all that I can say!! We loved it.
Being cool is not the best part of these fun straws, the best part is the sugar content, which is considerably low, compared to other milk drinks. Each straw has about ½ teaspoon of sugar which is 1/7th of the sugar content as compared to flavoured milk-drinks.
Sipahh is an Australian brand that has now launched in India. It is a cool treat for kids and is available in very unique flavours like ‘Chilled-Out Choc-Mint’, ‘Mango Smoothie’, ‘Okey Dokey Cookies & Cream’ and a host of others! The Milk Bar set up by Sipahh at the UpperCrust was a super-hit across children and adults.
Sipahh can be used with soy-milk as well as other types of milk so it works extremely well with lactose-intolerant kids too. Besides, I would love it as a travel product, since you can conveniently slip a few straws in your handbag.
It’s available across supermarkets as well as online and is well–priced at about Rs.15/straw depending on the pack-size you choose. The coolest one is the pack of 50 which is packaged in a really cute milk can!!
So for the moms who are fighting the milk battle everyday, here is something you could try!
